'Everything and Nothing' a Solo Exhibition by Carl Hickey

A Solo Exhibition of new work by Carl Hickey.

Carl Hickey’s work primarily takes shape through painting combined with with film and written notes. Carl’s artworks are a document of his surroundings, usually transcribed from videos captured on his phone. They are directly inspired by intimate, sometimes isolated events. Carl’s multidisciplinary approach subtly weaves his personal narrative into the works.

‘My work which is engulfed in intimate and sometimes isolated events is a demonstration of documenting my surroundings. Mostly painting’s transcribed from videos taken on my phone, the work as of late has taken a more personal approach, taking different outlets which include written work and projection.’ Carl Hickey
