Ballet Poulet is an non-verbal, family friendly street show featuring clown, dance, circus, comedy and absurdity.
Created in 2017 and 2018 by Kim McCafferty and Con Horgan of Fanzini Productions, it is best described as a comedic battle between dance and circus, elegance and simplicity, beauty and silliness, logic and absurdity. To date it has toured all over Ireland, South Korea and as far as the Cape Verde Islands.
Fanzini Productions is one of the foremost street arts companies based in the Republic of Ireland, touring nationally and internationally. Con Horgan, founder of Fanzini, has been performing since 1997 in a duo show Fanzini Brothers and performing solo as Professor Plunger.
Since 2013 Con Horgan and Kim Mc Cafferty have been creating and touring street theatre shows Circus Jukebox, Spailp and now Ballet Poulet.

Supported by the Arts Council of Ireland, Fanzini Productions have received six project awards resulting in six critically acclaimed shows, Cannonball Circus, Professor Plunger, Guido Fanzini’s Impossible Circus, Circus Jukebox, Spailp and Ballet Poulet.
They have worked with master clowns, Philippe Gaulier of Ecole Gaulier, John Lee of Fuse Performance Company, Joe Dieffenbacher of Nakupelle, Mooky Cornish, Jango Edwards, Adrian Schvarzstein, John Towsen, director Arne Zaslove and award winning clown Fraser Hooper.
Fanzini Productions have received five Culture Ireland funding grants to perform in America, India and South Korea and are also the founders and producers of the annual National Circus Festival of Ireland.
